Here is what happens from the day our crew pulls up in your driveway to the day they pack up and leave.

Step 1: Free On-Site Inspection

We come to you first, at no cost and with no obligation. One of the team walks your roof, checks the ridge capping, inspects the hip and valley pieces, looks for cracked or slipped tiles, and assesses the state of the coating. You get a written, obligation-free quote within 3-5 business days. There is no pressure and no guesswork about what the job requires.

Step 2: Broken Tile Replacement and Structural Repairs

Before any cleaning or coating begins, our crew replaces cracked or broken tiles and re-cuts any damaged hip and valley pieces. If your ridge capping mortar has crumbled, it is re-pointed using the star-point method for a firm, weatherproof bond. Flashings and flumes are sealed. This is the work that actually keeps water out. Step 3: High-Pressure Wash

Once structural work is complete, the entire roof surface is high-pressure cleaned to strip moss, algae, and loose paint. Perth's UV breaks down old coatings over time, and this stage ensures nothing is trapped beneath the new membrane. Gutters are cleared as part of this step. Lichen removal is a separate process: where lichen is present, an anti-fungal treatment is applied 2 weeks prior to the job start date.

Step 4: Primer and Sealer Coat

We apply a premium acrylic primer and sealer across the full roof surface. This bonds to the clean tile substrate and creates the base that allows the topcoats to perform as designed, blocking moisture absorption from the inside out. Using cut-rate products here is where many cheap jobs fail within three to four years.

Step 5: Two Coats of Dulux Acratex or Nutech Coloured Topcoat

Two coats of Dulux Acratex coloured paint go on next, applied in your chosen colour. The result is a water-impervious, UV-resistant membrane that protects the underlying tile from Perth's intense sun and winter rain. Step 6: Final Inspection and Sign-Off
